Dr Aiza Ahmad is a highly skilled and compassionate rehabilitation physician with a diverse background in healthcare systems in Australia and overseas. She offers consultations in Belmont and Maitland, and practices at John Hunter Hospital, where she provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programmes. Dr Ahmad also holds admitting rights to Lingard Private Hospital, ensuring seamless continuity of care. Prior to her current role, she brought her expertise to Wigham Rehabilitation Hospital.

 

Aiza is the clinical lead for spinal cord injury service development for Hunter at state level through NSW health. With extensive experience in both metro and rural settings, she has a deep understanding of the diverse healthcare needs of her patients.

 

She has worked in top hospitals across Tasmania, Queensland, and New South Wales. In 2018, she completed her fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians after extensive training in Sydney.
